Timii Task Timer 4+

The concept of this is what I’ve been looking for. A running countdown of blocked time in my day. Widgets are a must have feature for me, and unfortunately there aren’t any. A widget that shows me the time block of my choosing with an automated visual time countdown of all tasks is something I’ve been scouring the App Store for. I haven’t found an app so far that really does this, in a simple way anyway. This app has the simple setup to potentially be just that, and I’d be willing to pay for it. The ability to save the time countdown for a specific task and Lock screen live countdown and widgets for now and upcoming tasks would be a great feature too. I’ll keep it downloaded for a while and see if any new features develop.

Are you referring to a set period in your day that includes multiple consecutive tasks (like a focused work session), or more like a single countdown task with a specific label? This app has an excellent concept that’s hard to find in other time/productivity related apps. It integrates pomodoro timing with accounting-type style of tracking time and also provides sufficient methods of categorizing the amount of time spent. Love the idea and implementation! The app is not without its faults, but I believe the app is still undergoing development and will improve immensely in the near future. Looking forward to each subsequent update!

Timii Task Timer is AMAZING! One bad things is the first time, I played music but ever since then when I deleted it and got it back (the task) it won’t play music! How do I get it to work?!

Just so you know, the menu icon in the lower right corner of the running timer screen lets you choose the music you'd like to play, and the speaker button to the right of the record button controls whether music is on or off.
