"Tiny Pitch is by far the best pitch pipe app for the Apple watch." -Pixiepepper56, 5-star review

"The only pitch pipe I’ll ever need." -JacobMusic100, 5-star review
TinyPitch is a pitch pipe app that lets you play notes directly on your Apple Watch. You can adjust the volume loud enough so the whole choir can hear, or quiet enough that only you can hear it when you hold the watch up to your ear.
TinyPitch lets you play all the notes of the 12-tone chromatic scale. To play a note, tap it to start, and then tap again to stop -- or just let it finish on its own after a few seconds.
To switch between instruments (piano, clarinet, and tone), just force touch the Apple Watch screen. To adjust the volume -- while playing, or even in between notes -- spin the Digital Crown. Enjoy!
Screen elements optimized for Apple Watch Series 4.

The only pitch pipe I’ll ever need
This is hands-down the best pitch pipe for WatchOS. And because it’s on my wrist, it’s the only pitch pipe I’ll ever use again.
Other apps are ugly, only play sound on a connected iPhone, or have other flaws indicative of apps thrown together and packaged with iPhone apps as after thoughts. This dev has clearly designed TinyPitch from the ground up exclusively for WatchOS. The interface is clean and intuitive. There are three different instruments that play on the watch and it’s easy to adjust the volume with the Digital Crown. The app will even remember the volume you last used and use it the next time you play a pitch.
As a freelance musician, I’ve already used this app countless times in rehearsals with choirs and in my own private practice. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
Does not install
Cannot get it to install on my Watch. It does not show up as installed nor as available.
Update: I rebooted the iPhone and the Watch, and was able to install.
Please note: it might be a pecluliarity in iOS. My Watch is a series 4. The phone is a 6S Plus. When I rebooted and saw that tinypitch was available to install on the Watch, I tapped install. Several other apps, which were already installed, started to install as well. I tapped the spinners on each of those other apps, and for each of them I got the message that it was uninstalling. And indeed, they were uninstalled, and I had to install them again.
Anyway, TinyPitch is now installed on my Watch, and it is exactly what I need.
Such a great idea!
I can’t wait to use this for the early childhood music classes I teach! Each song must begin on the correct starting pitch and in the past I’ve always had to carry around a pitch pipe. This is game changing! I love my Apple Watch! So many fun new possibilities. Thanks TinyPitch 👍🏼🎶
UPDATE: also the developer is a musician himself and super cool, I reached out to him to ask for a feature (setting a default instrument selection so it won’t revert back to TONE) and he’s going to fix that in the next update! THANKS Matthew!
