Hey educators and creators,
We’re introducing two powerful new features to TinyTap.
Here’s what’s new:
1. “Ask a Question” Activity - Idle Audio Message
Inactive learners? Add a custom audio that will play if the learner remains idle for more than 10 seconds, prompting and encouraging them to continue.
This feature ensures that learners remain engaged and on-task, even if they need a gentle nudge!
2. “Puzzle” Activity - Celebratory Audio on Complition:
Completing a puzzle just got more exciting! Add a special audio message that will play as soon as a puzzle piece is correctly placed.
It’s a fantastic way to offer immediate positive feedback, praise, or to introduce the next learning objective.
We’ve been listening to your feedback, and are always striving to make your teaching experience as intuitive and fun as possible.
Update to the latest version to enjoy these new features. Happy teaching!
Ratings and Reviews
Great app but flow needs work.
Everything about this app is great except the flow. The search is a bit confusing... every time you open the app it brings you to the search page and it makes it hard for a 4-6 yr old to navigate. It took us a while to get the kids to go straight to their age profile and do their lessons. I think they should make it cleaner and not have the search page as the first thing that pops up. Also, maybe allowing us to personalize the lessons would be a good idea. Children love to see their name on the screen, it gives them ownership (I guess idk if you are able to do that but I haven’t found how to do it.). Finally, I love that they have availability for different languages but they should keep them separate. My kids are constantly frustrated bc they can’t understand something they just tapped on. If hey are trying to expose kids to other languages then they should make stories in other languages, my kids would love that. Once they work on these things I’d rate it five stars bc it is a really good app.

Thank you for leaving us such valuable feedback! You have such great ideas and I will forward your insight to my team. Regarding the languages, have you filtered it for a specific language? This can help with what content is shown. Feel free to be in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or concerns.

This app is
This app looked appealing at first glance, and a friend ended up purchasing a subscription for my daughter for her birthday years ago. Well, the app ended up being a complete fluke. There was too much pressure to purchase other things, ads, and pop ups. She would get frustrated when trying to play a single game. Anyways, well here we are almost 3 years later (the subscription the friend bought under her name was only for ONE YEAR) and they randomly get my Venmo account info and charge my venmo card $50+ for who in the world knows what. We didn’t use the app after the first week and again nothing was under my name, my daughters name, our apple id’s, nothing. So I have no idea how they got my venmo card number now being 2-3 YEARS later, very sketchy. I got no emails about renewing or canceling, TinyTap does not show up on my apple ID or any other accounts— and I even went to redownload the app and “log in” but when I put in my email it said, start your free trial here— meaning no current account. The robotic emails throughout customer support try to blame you/me for “not canceling my trial” to which would mean, i’d have to have one in the first place and I didn’t. And then I think that would mean I would have received other charges or even notices of cancel/renew over the past 2-3 years and none of that either. Just one charge today, $50 for a subscription renewal from 2019…very shady and not a great app to begin with. Just dont!!! :)

My name is Siobhan and I am the Customer Success Manager here at TinyTap.
We have no ways of gaining your Venmo information. infact, its not a payment method we accept. Apple is very transparent with their payment methods and their charges providing 2 pop up notifications and 2 emails before your trial begins and ends.
If you signed up online, and then downloaded the app, so your subscription is found of tinytap.com/account/settings/subscription - there you are able to cancel your subscription and refund it. 3 easy steps.
I’m sorry to hear about your disappointment with us and I would like to personally assist you with making things right. 💙
As for our email and Support, it's Christmas, so our team have resumed to assist. However, the automatic response ensure you are able to cancel and refund yourself with the opening line stating so.
I am happy to reach out today to discuss, or you can contact me directly at email@example.com with your purchase info, if it's more convenient.I can take care of this for you
Hard to navigate
I have a 2 year old who loved some of the games but it’s extremely hard to navigate, even for me. There’s no set order you do the activities in for his age group. We just had to pick random ones because there would be two for 2 year olds and the next one in line is for 5-6 year olds. It was just crazy. Also, you do realize that toddlers don’t always hold the phone without touching the screen, correct? My son would get so frustrated because even though he was picking the correct answer it wouldn’t register if a smidge of any other skin contact was on the screen. He would have to sit with me so I could move his other hand off of the screen so it would register. And when he had to drag something to it’s right spot he would get it pretty close but when he would let go it would go back to where he grabbed it from and say he got the answer wrong! It’s not teaching kids, it’s frustrating them! One more thing, the voice overs are terrible. Like, really bad. Some are ok, some seem like they don’t speak very good English and others sound like they were recorded in a warehouse with all of the echos! Please get it together.

Thanks for leaving such valuable insight! We are currently working on the touch sensitivity issue, so stay tuned in the next few months for an update. Our content is created by teachers and therapists from all over the world, so it's only natural you might come across some games that feature different accents and dialects. I'd like to hear more about your experience and give you some content suggestions for your 2 year old. Feel free to write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Sincerely, Brooke and the TinyTap Team
