Tippit is a beautiful tip calculating app with a design that fits into iOS 7.
"There's hundreds of tip calculating apps out there, but they all look ugly and have such outdated interfaces. They don't even feel fun to use. That's why I created Tippit."
- Saoud Rizwan, Tippit founder
Tippit lets you calculate your tip in a few easy steps:
1. Enter your bill amount.
2. Enter how many people are splitting the bill.
3. Rate your server.
4. Well that's it, you get your bill total including the tip.
With an in-app purchase of just one buck, you can unlock several gorgeous themes as well. Initially you get to use the Sunset theme.
- As requested, you can now customize tip percentages. Simply hit 'Edit' on the '... and the service?' view, and change it to your liking. Default is 5% to 25%.
- Minor bug fixes.
- Color tweaks.

Needs an update
Love the look and ease of the app. Just needs two things and it will be a five. Have an option to mute the sound and have a round up option. Add those two features and this will be a perfect tip app.
I understand the intent of the app, created for its ease of use. I do like its simplicity, questions, and color. HOWEVER, for me, it needs a rounding option and I don't see the percentage option. Maybe a switch to interchange between simple tipping for those who just wanna get it done, and an advance tipping options for OCD people, like myself, who feel the need to control the percentage and especially rounding off to an even dollar amount. Your on to something, keep it up. I really like "check please" but it doesn't appeal to my eyes. I like it for the options of controlling more of my tip.
Sometimes the service you receive is "pathetic" because there is something else going on that you cannot see. Perhaps another table is being very demanding, or food is coming out of the kitchen slow, or the soda machine isn't working. We do our best. In PA, servers are paid $2.83 an hour. That means no paycheck after Uncle Sam takes his cut. So I rely on tips to pay my bills. I'm also in college, trying to get a better job, but that's in the distant future. I do the best that I can, but I cannot possibly give every table good service for the reasons I mentioned. This app would be better if it did not offer the option to tip so low.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
