Update 1.1
What a great update to make that move to a must install 5 star app! This is a great developer, gave feedback and saw many of the changes we spoke about added to the the app. This is a great install if you are looking for a way to jot things down quickly, many of the features added in 1.1 including:

Share to other apps
Font changes
Clearing screen
Focus lock

The great thing about this app is the focus to detail and minimizism. It gets the job done without being heavy or letting the features get in the way of what's important…quickly typing up ideas or info.

So I’ve been looking for something like this for awhile. Working in IT and using a MacBook, I need somewhere to jot down quick notes like MAC addresses users to call back and this is pretty awesome. I really like the icon used for the menu bar and I’m able to see the cursor when I click on the menu bar icon.
Three things that would it perfect:

1) A touchbar icon with the ability to export to Notes app or Evernotes app
2) I would love to see this also live in menu bar and Notification Center where you could type/view.
3) Ability to adjust the font (For me a little too large)

If these were added I would definitely pay for this!

Another app called Scratchpad did something like this but didnt stay supported.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Something extremely simple, for quick notes. I use it mostly for my to do list and things I need to remember later. Since it’s on the menu bar, I can always check it easily and clear it up once I’ve transfered my notes to some place more permanent.

I've been using this app for a while & love it. I recently upgraded to an M1 Ultra MacBook & have had my notes entirely disappear 3 times since. It's an inconsistent problem but a VERY frustrating one.
