Ratings and Reviews
Easily my most important App
This prevents me from missing doctor’s appointments, helps me use my calendar and not be late any more. I’ve needed an alarm for a future date since i’ve had an iPhone. It’s amazing Apple hasn’t added this functionality yet to their calendar or alarm. And still rely one “reminders…” And also disappointing that they won’t allow me to run this app automatically, but it has become a ritual part of my day every day.
Developer Response ,
We've added support for that in v1.9 !
- more set alarm time options have been added: 3 and 5 minutes.
- you can now add an extra alarm for up to 30 minutes before an event!
- automations can be setup in the Shortcuts app, we recommend running it in the morning or when your Wake-Up alarm is stopped.
However as you noted, we actually recommend to try an create a habit to run Set Alarms manually in the morning as that gives you a chance to see your plans for the day!

future alarm without needing events?
is there anyway we could just get a simple option to create an alarm for a future date without having to create an event for it? I don’t really use the Calendar app and at least for me opening it up confuses me so I’d really just want a simple way of creating an alarm that will go off at a future date whenever I tell it to, and when it goes off, it just keeps going off until I shut it off just like a real alarm so that I don’t miss important events and appointments :) reminders get buried easily in my notifications in the truth is, I almost never see my notifications… But I always hear my alarms :D
(this app is otherwise perfect)
Developer Response ,
There are a couple options the app provide:
1. you can just create an event in Today Planned itself and that will automatically be alarm-able.
2. you can use Siri or Shortcuts to create a Remind Me in Today Planned and that will also be automatically alarm-able.
(eg. you can say: “Siri Today Planned remind me”, and follow the prompts from there)
Feel free to reach out if you need more help.
Thanks, but please expand use case features
I NEED the following two features for my use case:
- Alarms set more than 1 or 2 minutes away from event. Most of life is not a meeting down the hall or on a call
- This baby needs to be running ALWAYS to be the effective “missing link” everyone is looking for. By using the keyword filter feature, this would allow me to just put the word “alarm” in my event notes, then the app runs (perhaps nightly) in the background, always looking for those filters and automatically alarm setting for them.
