Great App!

Long time user of the original app (Daily Budget). I recently upgraded to this app and really love it. My favorite new feature is managing multiple budgets at once. I used it to manage a travel budget I was given for work separate from my main day-to-day budget.

Try the free version first to see if their system clicks with you, but as soon as you know you like it go ahead and do yourself the favor of buying the pro version. The main barrier to budgeting effectively (at least in my experience) is actually using whatever system you put in place. If you make the app as convenient to use as possible (the pro version definitely helps), then you’re more likely to use it with every purchase. Plus, how often are you offered a 1 time purchase anymore??

This app completely changed how I manage my money and brought me basically from 0 to 100. Can’t recommend it enough!

Great app with lots of planned updates

I’ve been using the Daily Budget app for a few years and purchased this one to try out the multi-budget feature. Without “continuous mode” (each month/time period resets to 0) I’ll need to use both apps for the multi-budget, which defeats the purpose of upgrading some. I did see that was listed as a planned feature and will update my review to 5 stars once that’s implemented. Other than my niche need, this is a great app and is already on-par with its predecessor. With the planned upgrades (the dev is very transparent and accessible via socials) this will be a clear upgrade. Other than continuous mode, the other upgrade I am most excited for is the ability to change wallets faster. I’m happy to have paid to support the dev while they’re putting together the updates as creating a great app like this takes money, and the 30$ is worth it in the long run. I have saved way more than 30$ or whatever I paid (it’s been awhile) using the previous app and expect to see the same benefit using this one (especially once continuous mode allows me to transition over completely).

[2023-09-29] Hi, hope you'v been well! Hope you’ve been well! Just wanted to let you know that we implemented a in-between step to monthly reset balance feature (aka Continuous-OFF).

Since v1.6, you can quickly reset your Today's Budget balance by moving it into savings with just a few taps. (Simply head to 'Add saving' > 'One-off saving') Similarly, you can easily withdraw enough to balance your negative Today's Budget back to zero. ('Withdraw' > 'Quick withdraw').

It's not fully automated yet🤖 Implementing this feature to be automated is complex as it involves various scenarios, such as when to start and stop automation and handling edits to recurring expenses/income that affect past reset balances. We haven’t been able to come up with simple and transparent screens to handle these edge cases, but just wanted to let you know that there is this interim solution.

This is the closest thing I’ve found to poor man’s budget

My wife and I got this app when it was the earlier version years ago and just upgraded to the newer version yesterday. Totally satisfied with a new version of this app.

It’s really helped us get our budget under control by telling us what we have left over today after deducting everything we were responsible for in terms of fixed expenses per month.

If you prefer to use some thing like the poor man’s budget, this app is for you. It works simply by taking your monthly income (We use take-home pay rather than salary) and deducting your non-monthly fixed expenses. Whatever you have left over is broken down per day and that’s what you have to spend so if you save $20 today you have 20 extra dollars tomorrow, it gives you a nice heads up view of your current status and incentivize you to save a little bit for tomorrow. Additionally since you can factor in saving for goals and deduct that before your daily spending budget you can automatically start saving for the things that are important to you down the road.

If this app didn’t exist I would have built it myself since it’s exactly what I need, thanks to the creators.
