Paid/Subscription

It would be awesome if there was a premium version where you could pay a subscription to read any newspaper front to back. Sort of like netflix but for newspapers.

But this free, easy to use app is excellent. It gives you a ton of perspectives and helps you see how people from other states and other countries prioritize what's important.

Version 3.0 drops links! — no! Wait!

Why can’t I find the usual lower-right-corner link to each paper’s web site? Very unhelpful taking this off; if I start reading page 1, now I can’t just go to the web site to finish it ... have to log out of app, log into browser, type in URL, etc. and I just forgot what I was looking for. And a side note, some papers titles come up with different substance, eg substitution of Lockport Union Sun appears for Niagara Gazette. REVISION: it’s hidden under the ‘share’ icon. The only moved it so you have to take two actions to find it. Stupid me.

Hi, you still have that ability to jump to the site. We’ve just cleaned up the design for better viewing experience in the app. Click the share icon, and you’ll be able to access the link to the site, as well as viewing high-def PDF and of course, sharing the front page with others.

Any plans on adding more newspapers in the future? I’ve also noticed that when I would type in a search if I get to a location that doesn’t have a paper the app locks up (for example when attempting to type in “New Orleans“, I get the “new” but then it freezes when I type in the “o”
