I love the app, recommend it to friends regularly. However I’m not sure what the purpose of the latest update is - first, it deleted my saved favorites, it’s more difficult to navigate within a page now, and it locks up constantly. And the new icon is ugly 😂. Fixing a problem that didn’t exist. Thanks. UPDATE: I appreciate the response from the developer and I understand that there will continue to be incremental updates to the product. After this latest point update (today is Dec. 13) there remain issues with zoom and scroll when viewing a front page. I still love the app 🙂

We knew the change would not be an immediately welcome one to some but, we hope you will give it a chance as we improve performance and usability with future updates based on feedback like yours. Version 4.0.2, released today, should address stability issues on all devices and daily refresh errors specific to iPads.
The only reason I have this app is to save front pages to the Photos app to use for digital scrapbooking. This option is gone in the new version, so the app is now useless to me. Bummer. Don’t like the new interface either.Developer has responded that this feature will be added back to the app. I appreciate the fast response and am updating my review. I will update again once the “save to camera roll” feature is back. TY!

Overall this is a good app, but I noticed some major newspapers in the United States are not offered in this app. For example the New Orleans Louisiana paper is not offered. Any plans on adding more newspapers in the future? I’ve also noticed that when I would type in a search if I get to a location that doesn’t have a paper the app locks up (for example when attempting to type in “New Orleans“, I get the “new” but then it freezes when I type in the “o”
Love this app! It’s so cool to see front pages from all over in one place. The word cloud is a fun way to spot trending topics, and the interactive map makes it easy to browse newspapers by location. Plus, the widget is hands down my favorite—perfect for checking headlines at a glance.If you’re into news, this app is a must-have!
I recognized that I’d need to get used to a new layout but the app doesn’t work. After spending a while saving favorites, I’m now told that I have no favorites. After using map to find my favorites, the Donegal Times pops up repeatedly after I click on my choices. Then the app just crashes. I hope they figure this out; I really liked this app and have recommended it to others. Now I can’t really use it.

It is great being able to look at the headlines and brief info on front pages of your choice from around the world. I look at a handful of my favorites to keep up on events in my own state and others. I can read an occasional article in it's entirety if desired. It took awhile to figure out how to do this with the recent upgrade, and is a tiny bit cumbersome, and that is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. Thanks for this informative and useful free app!
