I have tried many others but just can’t live without the functionality of Todoist. The desktop app is a game changer and I feel everything syncs seamlessly between my devices. I dump all my thoughts and recurring home and work tasks here and then never forget anything. The Doist team also continually adds and develops this app and the new features are always awesome. Worth the premium to me.

This is by far the best task app I have used (I have tried a lot). It is very easy to use and has a lot of flexibility to make it work the way that is best for each task. You can add repeat tasks just by adding daily or weekly,etc to the end of the task description, instead of having to copy over and over again. It’s easy to organize tasks, setup multistage tasks and adjust dates and times when things change.

Good app but couple ideas

I love this app and have used it for years. There are a couple things that I wish you would add. CarPlay integration would be great. I regularly think of things I need to do while driving. The ability to add more than one calendar would be really helpful too. I have a work calendar and family calendar, but can only have one on my list. Those two items would be excellent and make this app even better.

- Thanks to some under-the-hood adjustments, special characters are now allowed in the names of projects, sections, and labels.
- New reminders Quick Add shortcut: Save yourself several taps by typing “!” in the task field to add a reminder (or several) to your time-sensitive to-do’s.
- And while we were adding the reminder shortcut, we made a few other design updates to make the whole reminder experience clearer, faster, and more intuitive.
- Plus, we’ve set out to overhaul and vastly simplify creating a filter. Just describe what you’re looking for using natural language. The new, AI-powered Filter Assist will generate the filter query for you to add directly to your Todoist.
