A simple productivity app

Tomato Timer is a simple app designed to help you get things done.

Tomato Timer helps you complete tasks by chunking the time you spend working into "work sessions", which are punctuated by breaks.
Work for some period of time, then take a break. After a few work sessions, take a longer break.
You can configure how long each work session, short break, and long break are by navigating to Settings.

• Turn on Notifications to get reminded when to begin your next session
• Configure the length of work sessions, short breaks, and long breaks
• Choose whether the session should automatically start
• Keep your device awake while the app is in the foreground
• Set a gorgeous theme color

• Simple to-do lists. Add up to 10 separate to do lists with up to 15 to-dos in each.
• Use a color picker to set your theme
• 10 high quality notification sounds
• Choose to auto start either the work session, the break session, or both
• Zen Mode - remove all UI elements except the timer for a more minimal experience

TRY IT, You won’t regret it.

So I’ve been searching for an app that allows me to really track my time and where I spend it.

I looked at other apps just downloaded them but went to this one first because of the great reviews it had boasting simplicity, minimalism and no confusion. The review below me said just that, it was simple and easy to use. I have not used it yet, but I was just playing around and this one thing made me come on here and review. At the very bottom in the settings menu, you can click on this “Made with ❤️ by Adam Tecle” and it changes to the next sentence. I played around with that and it was just really cool and fun how the developer made it fun for the person clicking through it. Try it out it’ll bring a smile to your face. It says stuff like “Stop Procrastinating lol” and “By the way you look really nice today”. These are all very fun, cool ways to bring you more users! Great Job!

Keeps going

I love this app so much but I wish I could restart the timer. For example, if I finish my task or move on to something else and don’t need to complete the full 4 sessions. Then, I reopen the app and the timer is still there. This can be good if I wanted it to stay but i want to be able to restart completely. Please create a button or something where i can reset the timer for my next task. Other than that, absolutely love this app

EDIT: I got a developer response immediately, learned how to fix what my problem was, thank you so much! Absolutely recommend this app!

Developer Response ,

Hi, thank you for using Tomato Timer and for this feedback! This functionality is actually available today - long press the timer to reveal options to restart the timer, the current session, or complete the current session.

Pomodoro Timer for Simplicity

Face it, it’s 11pm and that paper/email/script/memo isn’t writing itself. You need a solution and you need it fast.
Voila! The Tomato Timer is a clean, simple, and fresh productivity timer utilizing the proven pomodoro method for timeliness. I preferred this app over other because 1) timer is focus of app without complex tabs or options 2) simple, clean interface 3) pleasing notification sounds. This app doesn’t give in to what you want (another accounts to log into or distracting features), it here because it’s what you need. 4 stars because of notification feedback below.

Please develop a way to make the notifications sound when the phone is on silent or on Do Not Disturb. I know it’s counterintuitive to Apple’s design, but I use those features to mute other annoying social media and game apps so I am uninterrupted. The only method I’ve found is leaving my whole phone on and hoping no one messages me, which is not foolproof I’m afraid.
