One big caveat
Combining a Pomodoro timer and a to-do list is a great concept. I especially like how you can customize your Pomodoros (I prefer longer work periods and longer breaks). However, this app has a crucial quirk: the timer stops whenever the app loses focus or the phone goes to sleep, except if the phone is plugged in. In the settings, be sure to check "prevent screen lock" as otherwise the app won't run in the background.
Repeating tasks don’t repeat & no way to duplicate tasks
This app makes the same mistake that every to do app in the world seems to make:
Repeating tasks don’t actually repeat.
That is, when you set a task to “repeat” it only actually repeats AFTER it’s trigger to repeat by finishing the tasks that came before it. A repeating task should just duplicate the same task for the number of instance you stipulate. So, if daily, then the same task should be created for each day of the week until the end date. Don’t wait to create the repeated task until I finish that task for today.
Further more, you might as well make it easy to duplicate tasks if you’re not going to actually allow tasks to ACTUALLY “repeat.” Its 2018 and I have to cut and paste the title of my task into each new task I create for every single day in order to end up with 10 days of the same task for a project to show up in my list of upcoming weekly tasks. Ridiculous.
I’ll change my review when the app is updated to include these features.
Best Pomodoro
I've been searching for an app that is a timer, and lets me list what the focus is for. Let's you repeat and many other features. I rarely review, and this the best time blocking, timer, pomodoro out there
