Need a Mac App

Enjoying it so far but I really would prefer a Mac app so I can take notes and move more easily between Tome and my manuscript

Disappointing

I was so hopeful for this app but it’s not nearly good enough. It supposedly learns where you are in the process, creating a custom path from that, but it mentions topics you haven’t covered so you go through it with the feeling of FOMO so it’s distracting. I started over pretending to need help from the beginning but it’s easy to lose your place and you still feel like you might have missed a lesson so i got to the outline view to make sure I’m getting everything.
But then beyond that the content itself isn’t good. It’s an app but there’s no interconnectedness in the lessons. You set up goals but for some reason you’re limited to ones from a drop down list. In another place you can set your own goals but they don’t ever come up. For ex: launch the app, this is your goal for day 2. It has places where you brainstorm and another place to build on it but the lessons aren’t linked and you can’t see the contents of the other lesson so you are forced to keep all your notes elsewhere or maybe have laptop and iphone to lessons so you can refer back. Speaking of notes: everything is an individual pdf you have to download individually if you want to keep it somewhere safe. Then the lessons themselves: i liked them at first but it really doesn’t feel any different from the standard advice you can get for free. The app is pretty, just wish it actually did something app like, beyond just standard web pages

The only novel writing course you’ll ever need!!

I’ve taken several video based writing course and read tons of books about writing a novel, but this course is the best!! They give you a personalized path, the lessons are interactive and they build on each other. And the app part is so awesome - I can work on it anywhere! And there are lots of resources and tools. And anything you write you can export! I am FINALLY really writing the novel that I’ve been wanting to write for soooo long!! I highly recommend this course/app!!
