Tomo Card 4+

Customer support horrible

Customer support will not help you with fraudulent charges. This card will take money out of your savings account without your permission if you report a fraudulent charge to the checking account that you link the Tomo card to. My bank made Tomo reverse the fraudulent charge and refunded it back to my checking account. A few days later Tomo took the money that was refunded out of my savings account without my permission. Definitely the worst credit company that you could deal with. Tomo is ran by criminals that hide behind an LLC . Be careful!!!

DOES NOT REPORT TO ALL 3 BUREAUS

I received a $1k credit limit, which is fine, but the sole purpose I had for this card to report my activity to all 3 agencies. It does not, at all. So in the beginning I was doing well, for about a year having the auto draft taken out weekly. Ran into hard times, and they report those hard times on to all bureaus which I’m not upset about. Such is life. But then I got everything back together, they did report that I’m back current but even after halting purchases on this card and maintaining a $0 balance altogether. It has not reported since and that was Nov 2022. It is February. So they only report to TransUnion. Which very much defeats the purpose. I’m going to close the account, I know that’s the only way they’ll report. And I’ve rather have a closed account with $0 balance than what it shows, which is that I’m using 71% utilization of my credit. I wouldn’t recommend if you are building credit. I do recommend if you don’t care about your credit score and you just want to develop the habit of paying your balance in full monthly.

Great and simple product

I actually like the weekly autopay feature. I don’t have to ever worry about a balance being reported to my credit, and I also know that when I look into my external savings/checking account it’s a better reflection of my financial status. I hate when I look into my savings and I think I have a lot of money but forget that I also have credit debt. With weekly autopay that no longer happens to me
