Tongits Offline (Tong-its) is a 3-player rummy type of game that is the famous leisure card game in Philippines. It was first played in Pangaisan in the mid 1980's which they call Tung-it. The game rules and the very name can be associated with the American card game, Tonk, and also share its similarities of Mahjong and Poker.
The objective of the game is by drawing and discarding, to form sets and runs, and to minimize the count of unmatched cards remaining in your hand. This game is also a strategy game when you have to avoid being Burned or having too many scores when the central stack is empty.

Ads prevent continuing game
New ad for another game sometimes does not allow you to skip. Usually after 5 seconds on an ad, you see an “x” you can click… not with this certain game ad. I had a pot over 2 million and got an ad after a round. It happened to be this interactive ad with no way to skip. I thought I could just wait but that didn’t work either. I had to close the game out losing that potential pot!
Doesn’t play like the real game
Your computer opponents do not play like any real Tongits player would. The player to your left will ALWAYS hold the cards you need, even there is no logical reason for it. They will hold those cards and lose with them before dumping them. I love the game of Tongits. This version is so bad, you’ll remove it from your tablet after a couple weeks of frustration. As everyone I know already has.
