Addictive and also a chance game

This game is designed by the “luck of the draw” in a sense. Whenever you start a level, it’s a random chance whether that set is programmed to possibly beat the level or not at all. Sometimes, I get stuck on a level and have to play it over and over until I get a “winning level.” This knowledge makes it a bit annoying. It’s not that any of the levels you go through get harder. They are all about the same level of hardness. “Leveling up” just means your collecting more games you’ve passed through not your ability to achieve harder levels. Sometimes I can pass 6 or 7 levels all in a row without loosing a life and sometimes I get stuck on one for 6 or 7 tries. It’s all really just about luck. Also, it gets monotonous after awhile because the added obstinate they put in there are reused just with a different appearance. I think there could be a lot more work done to improve this game. More ideas. More variation throughout the levels. And also, making the levels harder down the road. Although, it is a good way to kill time when I need to. If I’m just sitting there for 15 or 20 min and have nothing to do and I wanna do something mindless this is my go to. Also, a great little way to avoid talking to someone you don’t want to talk to.

Annoyingly Addictive

I feel like this game is overrated, I don’t even think it’s that fun. I think the perfect words to describe this game are ‘annoyingly addictive’. I had to delete it from my phone or else I would just keep on going back to it and being incredibly mad at myself. I don’t know how so many people seem to like this game. I feel like the company that owns Toon Blast is just forcing all its employees to play instead of doing work to make it seem like people are actually doing stuff. And after that they have them write good reviews about the game to make it seem like everyone loves. Either that or most of the human race has gone insane, been replaced by robots, threatened at gunpoint, etc.
Most of the 5 star reviews say hey this game is decent, but they rated it 5 stars, not like 3 or even 4. I feel like the game only looks good because people are misunderstanding how many stars is appropriate.
Honestly, this game has no uniqueness to it whatsoever. There are so many other games like it, and every level is pretty much exactly the same.
And don’t even get me started on the teams. I mean why other than to get free lives. You can chat with other people in your team, but it’s not like your team actually really does anything for you.
Overall I dislike this game and can’t believe how many 5 star reviews it got.

It’s pay for play - fun to a point.

The game is rigged and is designed to get you to pay for power ups (or use all the ones you’ve accumulated and then pay for replacements) to continue to progress. It’s enjoyable to a point - that being the one where you hit the pay wall. Once you get there you will find yourself redoing the same level over and over and over again unless you are willing to spend money for power ups. Personally I signed up knowing this full well and have enjoyed the game till now. But I’ve hit a level (450 to be exact) where the designers are clearly telling me that if I don’t start coughing up cash I can forget about moving forward. I have a pet theory that if you ignore the game for a while and don’t play for a week or two (or more) that the algorithm let’s you get past the level you’re stuck on in the hope that you’ll get sucked into spending cash the next time you hit a paywall level. I’ll check in again with the level I’m stuck at in a few weeks. Hopefully the algo will be ready to let me pass the paywall level then, but for now I’m done with this game. There’s no way I’ll spend money on it. It’s a diversion but not something I’m willing to pay cash for. Sorry Peak.
