Love it, Live it, Use it!! Just a small recommendation!
Hello ToonSquid team! I am so flabbergasted on how much this has helped me in animation! You guys have been putting in a lot of effort and I just love everything about it! With the key frames, symbols and easy animations for beginners, this app is just one of the best animation apps out there! But I’d also like to give out some recommendations! (I completely understand if it’s not compatible or supposed to be a function in the app). But I’d maybe think that when editing, there should be an option called “Skewer” it is basically like using the “Rasterize” tool but it can be in keyframes instead of frame-by-frame Animation. It can be used just like a distortion tool but the only change about it can be from a Rasterize tool to an actual Keyframe to allow it to skew / shear the animation with the symbols without being blurry, because in most cases for apps such as FlipaClip, it turns out super blurry each time animators skew / shear the frame every time, and I think it would be such a great improvement to ToonsSquid if they added that feature like Adobe Animate!
Again, I completely understand if it’s not compatible or doesn’t fit in to what the app is intended to do or have.
So that is why I’d think there should be a “Skew / Shear” feature for keyframes & symbols so that it can be way easier for people now! Reach out to this account if you can! Thank you so much! Keep up the amazing work, ToonSquid Team!

Thank you so much for the kind words and for leaving a review - that means a lot to me!
And also thanks for the suggestion. Making it possible to animate perspective and warp edits using keyframes is definitely one of the big features that I would like to add to ToonSquid at some point in the future.
Great
Pretty nice love the tween, unlike procreate which is a app for art that just so happens to have animation, this focuses on animation, if your a beginner or looking to try animation, I recommend FlipaClip, super simple and easy to learn, if your looking for stunning illustrations that can have a bit of animation, or to make beautiful animation that focuses on looks, go for procreate, there’s a sort of scale that comes to most software, the more advanced it is, the harder to do simple things but easier to do harder things, in this case toon squid isn’t for beginners in animation or for people who want to try it, but it makes animation a ton more efficient and easier for people who know what there doing, if you were using procreate or flipa clip to produce fast and relatively simple stuff, although it seems like FlipaClip will be the best for making lots of simple animations, it isn’t instead toon squid is the best, it makes animating simple lip sync SUPER EASY with its library and the fact you can save and reload stuff like mouths, and also making animations with simple movements very easy with its easy to use and learn tween, toon squid has the perfect middle ground between simple and advanced, and because its built for the ground up for animation by animators, it is super efficient, and offers extra

Hi! Am I understanding it correctly that you would prefer it if you could just move the first keyframe of a layer to another frame and have its value automatically apply to the previous frames of that layer instead of having to duplicate the first keyframe? That way if you later want to edit the starting value, you only have to edit one keyframe and not two. Is that correct?
If that is not what you meant, please send an e-mail to contact@toonsquid.com with more details and I will be happy to note this feature request down for future consideration.
Also in general, if you really only have a feature request and other than that are mostly happy with the app, I would kindly ask you to reconsider the severity of the rating you have chosen, since such ratings have a big negative impact on the app and its future development. Thank you for understanding!

One of the best animation apps! Could use some updates
This is probably my favorite app to animate in, it has a lot of features that I miss in other apps like onion skin settings, framerate settings, and drawing out of frames w vector brushes. I do have some problems with it though when it comes to coloring and doing linework though because of the way vector lines work/the placement of things on the interface. I use an iPad and like to swipe down to turn down the brightness on my screen/volume of my music but oftentimes it accidentally changes the opacity of my brushes and I end up drawing my lineart with a lower opacity without noticing which could be fixed if there were the ability to lock brush settings or move the placement of the opacity settings, it’s really annoying working on something and realizing when your coloring it you’ve been drawing with a slightly lowered opacity. Another problem I have is with the inability to draw outside the frame with raster brushes, so I end up using vector brushes. Using vector brushes is fine with me but it’s a lot harder to fill in and color your drawings because lock transparency/fill reference doesn’t work, so I end up drawing underneath the lineart to manually fill and color each drawing which takes a long time. Other than that I enjoy using the app a lot, and don’t mind these issues too much because a lot of apps have similar or worse issues.
