Toronto is the home town of renowned progressive rock band Rush. This app is for fans of the band who are planning a trip to Toronto and/or have a keen interest in their history.
This app contains a bunch of categories. Each category contains related sites/locations around the city that are pertinent to the history of Rush. From their very first show through studios they used, clubs they've played and other landmarks. There's obvious ones like the site where the photo was taken for the Moving Pictures album cover. There's also obscure ones like the route a very young Geddy and Alex used to travel to/from each others houses to play music.
Each site has pictures, descriptive info and the nearest public transit stop. Additionally, each site has a button you can tap to see a map of the exact location. If you choose to let the app use your location, you will see yourself on a site map when you are actually in the vicinity.
New content and updates to existing content. App has been updated for iOS11 and renders fine on all iOS devices including iPhone X.

If you're a Rush fan, you want this
Anyone who has any interest in Rush and its history will find this app incredibly informative. I've been dying to make a trip up to Toronto to take a look at all these concert halls, studios, clubs, etc.
The app makes it very easy to plan a pilgrimage to the birthplace of Rush. It's like a Lonely Planet guide for prog rock nerds.
Even if you haven't made the trip yet, this guide is great for reading up on the various places and events. There are even some personal stories from the app creator, who has been following the band from its humble beginnings.

Ok, I have never actually written a review for an app, but this app is awesome, so I had to share my thoughts. Yea, it's pretty simple, but works pretty well and is a wealth of great Rush history in one place, at your fingertips. If you check this app out, and then don't want to go to Toronto, I'd say you're just not a Rush fan. You'd spend hours finding this info on Google and it will be a great blessing for my upcoming visit to Toronto. Thanks for dreaming this up and making it a reality Steve.
