  • WArning consumers don’t get the Total Adblock

    I have tried to get my money back only to be given the run around. They tried talking me into keeping it. I told the rep I don’t want it and she became rude and told me I had to keep it for a month. I replied that I didn’t want it for not even a day. She told me she was sending me a form to fill out to my email. Never received. I sent 4 emails stating I didn’t want it and received only one reply to go to the App Store and fill it out. Since I couldn’t get assistance I went to the app and tried to fill out my request and couldn’t find where I could get my refund. Frustrated I tried again to get hep to no avail. They charged me 2 charges one for $39 and one for $29. They actually stole my money. I went on Facebook and let everyone know how I was treat and lied to. Next I’m going to the Bstter Businesd Bureau the BBB to complain and not stopping there. Frank Olivencia

    So I subscribed by trying the free trial. In order to do that, you have to give your payment information up. I set up the app afterwards and adjusted all the settings like I wanted them to be and I’ll just be honest with you this app does not work at all. I tried going back in and adjusting the settings again, changing things around in hopes that it would make some sort of a difference, and do something and I doesn’t. I then tried to go in and unsubscribe I could not figure it out, so I decided to try to figure it out later and of course I forgot and I was charged. i could not figure out how to request a refund. I ended up going through my bank and getting it that way I went back in and tried to figure out how to unsubscribe to it again and could not figure out how to do that. Select every option in hopes that I could talk to a support team member and have them help me. Selecting every option. I couldn’t find any of them to work. It wouldn’t even let me close or cancel my account bc I’m still subscribed. I could not talk to a support team member. It is not an option to email them and when I go into my iCloud settings to unsubscribe there, it does not show up. I have been charged 3 times now and was able to get a refund the first two times but for my third time, my bank denied refunding me. I ended up having to cancel my credit card to get new numbers so they could not charge me anymore and that was the way I was able to keep them from charging me or “unsubscribe” if you will. This is really messed up and I don’t think what they have done to me is right and don’t recommend them to anyone.

    I can't even give them 1 star. I agreed to a 7 day trial for $1.99 thru Paypal. The following day I was charged $39 and I didn't like that but thought they charged me for a year so I thought ok. When I went to set it up it was confusing and I was still seeing ads everywhere. Then I noticed a $9.95 charge every month so I I contacted them to ask what the $39 charge was if I was being billed monthly and was told that was a charge for multiple devices. I am retired and do not have multiple devices anymore, just my iPhone so I woukd never have agreed to that and told them I wanted to cancel and I wanted my $39 back and not to charge me anymore. The girl said (this is all thru chat so I took screenshots of the convo) she would refund my $39 and offered me $1.99/mo for life so I caved and said ok. I waited about a week and saw no refund come thru and then, on Sat I saw another $9.95 charge and I contacted them again and told them I wanted my $39 refund they agreed to last week and I wanted it totally cancelled. I got shifted around to 3 people thru chat who told me the girl who said she would refund my money was in error and they again started offering me some other program for a lifetime and a 2.99/mo. I told them to unsubscribe me and return the 9.95 charge still on hold at my bank and I wanted complete cancellation because I wouldn't do business with anyone I couldn't trust. I couldn't even find a way to unsubscribe on their site. I was just fed up, then the 3rd person said they would refund my 9.95. and sent me an email to unsubscribe. We'll see... save yourself the trouble; choose a different option.

  • Fairly Decent Service

    I purchased this software tool back in the summer of last year around about July and I really liked it and thought that it made a huge difference and helped my webpages to load faster. I appreciate the huge 80% discount that I received to try the product initially the first time and to receive it again to return. My only suggestion would be to have one pop up that includes all service offerings instead of having them separate for users to click through because it will come off as the business trying to get more money out of the customer and that Is the easiest way I believe these days to lose the customer all together. I always say if you get one your in the running for potential long-term commitment if you do a great job with getting the customer to understand the initial offering, how to use it properly and how they can monitor and witness tracked changes of their systems or personal development over a span of time.

    When I signed up for a promo offer, Adblock tricked me to sign up for 2. Adblock doesn’t have options to delete payment methods. I called my credit card company regarding suspicious charges. The representative stated, the transaction was declined for security reasons. AdBlock was reported for suspicious activity and charges. The gift card I used for $1.99 does not have security, and though Adblock shows guaranteed refund, the tab for refunds doesn’t function to enable a refund. I was lucky it was only $1.99. The subscription is not listed on any account such as Apple, Google, or PayPal. I did log in with my google account, which prompted me to enter an email address and password, so it’s separate. That means it’s not necessary for Adblock to follow security guidelines that Google, Apple, and PayPal require. It’s necessary to log into their website to view or make changes to an account. Once again it’s not possible to delete payment methods. You can cancel a subscription without a refund, and it’s possible to delete the account without removing payment methods. I’ll have to wait to check if it will charge my gift card after I canceled. I did receive a confirmation email that I canceled.

    I was offered this at $2.99 a month when i got a new phone. The next month it went up to $9.95. I didn’t notice until the next month. Figuring out how to contact them was very difficult. I finally chatted with someone and was offered the $2.99 again, for real. I thought I’d try it. I was refunded the $6.95 for the 3rd month. But the next day, my bank showed another charge for $9.95. Although PayPal showed the refund my bank didn’t. But I have 2 charges in my bank of $9.95. So back to the site to try and contact someone, finally did with a chat. I asked for a phone number but wasn’t given one. I knew I couldn’t play with this company anymore. I tried to follow the cancellation process but it kept taking me back to chat with someone. I think I’m finally canceled. Now as long as I don’t keep getting deduction for Adblock with a canceled subscription, I’m glad I got out of there with only $20 loss so far.Getting support is bad. The service itself I can’t say since I was so messed up with getting billed I cancelled before I really used it.

    Zero review I paid the $1.99 they took it out of my account. During the set up process they tried to get me to sign up for more expensive plan. I turned them all down . Never make to set up my account so now that I am requesting a refund they cannot verify my account. Now they are saying cannot cancel because the account was free. My bank says otherwise. I have taken snap shots of all the different reasons for not being able to cancel. From no internet connection I am on 5 g so that’s not true. It says no account, cannot connect because of no internet, oh and this one a problem has occurred with our system , please try again later. I am almost 40 mins in . Not sure what they mean by later. Not stupid I have downloaded ad block ads before they were even completely free and never a problem. I will continue to try and get what is a small amount back but it’s mine and I want it returned. They want me to rate it but I get put a zero in so I’ll have to hit 1 but I really think zero

  • Does NOT work, unable to contact support

    Installed this , enabled every single filter the product has I still get ads on Facebook watch, all browsers. Configuring everything should cover at least something. It does not. Tried contacting support it does not exist, you simply get stuck in a loop of tutorials. Found online a company which somehow is able to get reviews and comments to the UK based company. Wrote a detailed description and sent it off - not heard anything in 2 weeks. I worked in software development for 25 years so I’m not making newbie mistakes. Install, reinstall, reboot, delete reconfigure , latest version - I’ve done everything, if I developed software like this in my career I would have been fired on the spot. Don’t know how they remain in business. Not able to give zero stars would if I could.Deleting right now , apparently I’m on a free trial , will figure out how to stop them auto charging me the first month - not sure how to report to the apple App Store but this product needs to be gone

  • No Adblock protection provided & shady subscription

    Got this app for my phone. Ads were not blocked, app was geared towards pressuring me to subscribe monthly, so deleted app & used a different application. Some weeks later I get autobilled for a monthly subscription anyway, and in looking into this learn that you can get the app for free but the free version is designed not to work-presumably on your phone. Customer service repeatedly refused to cancel the subscription instead trying to persuade me to keep using the app with different subscription options. Had to go ballistic with them before the subscription was finally canceled and a refund issued. A basic ad block feature that can be paid for once or with a small fee is one thing. But this was a pricey subscription that I didn’t want. The app itself is adware bloat. Why is Apple allowing this on their App Store? My adblocker on my old phone worked well but is no longer available in the Apo store. Instead I get this crap. Thanks a lot Apple.

    This app has been taking money from my account once sometimes more than once a month. I have tried to cancel, they tell me they can’t find my info and ask me to send them all-of my info to them in an email. None of the email addresses seem to match, but they have emailed me at the one I set up with the account. They still say they can’t find me in their system, but yet they find a way to get my money. I have gotten nowhere with them. I was able to get into what is supposed to be my account and it did say I was on the free account, but then they charge my card $9.95 every month. I keep disputing it and have deleted my card from my phone and got a new number and changed my password like Apple told me to do, but they still keep charging me. Don’t sign up with them or you will regret it. This has been going on for a year now.
