Stage routes and profiles access problems

Routes and profiles for stages only seem to be accessible for future stages, and then on an absurd timer! For future stages, clicking “Stage of the day” displays the profile, but on a timer, so it automatically advances to the route map, which then closes after a few seconds! That is completely absurd. Plus you cannot turn the screen and get landscape mode, nor can you zoom in on either one. The only way I’ve found to get a longer view is to take a screen shot, but the resolution is poor. For completed stages even this much isn’t available—no Stage button. The app wants to push videos etc. instead. Developer, please at least let users pause and view profiles and maps for all stages!

EDIT: I found how to access maps and profiles without the crazy timed view. You have to scroll down the page and down there is a Stage of the Day section. For past stages you have to scroll over a ways in that section. Can zoom a little on the map. But why did it take that degree of hunting around to find it? Really there should be links from the overall tour map to each stage.

Fix these two things and I’ll give you 5 stars

1. Extremely hard to go back/fwd several stages at once. The swiping is good but there should be a way to click and bring up a list so that we can skip behind/ahead several stages at once. If I want to see stage 20, I have to swipe a ton

2. The initial splash screen. Include whatever ads you want in the app but please don’t make me stuck with an ad we can’t even scroll past on the initial launch that sits there for 8-10 seconds every single time

Everything you need or want to know about the race and riders.

Just an absolutely beautiful app! A wealth of information, intuitive and easy to use, and beautifully presented. This is by far the best cycling app available, and one of the best sports apps out there. My compliments to the research team and the designers. A real pleasure to use. Everything you need or want to know about the race and riders. Don’t pass this one up.
