Description
The Alaska TourSaver® App for smartphones works just just like the traditional Alaska TourSaver Coupon Book and includes a unique booking number, plus maps and GPS locations of TourSaver vendor attractions. After downloading the Alaska TourSaver App from the iTunes App Store, pick one of the four coupon packages to purchase, then download to your smartphone and simply use it like the physical coupon book.
Instead of tearing out coupons from the print edition, the TourSaver® app allows you to press a "Redeem Now" button when a tour vendor asks you for a coupon.
Your personal book number is located at the bottom of each coupon--embedded in the "Redeem Now" button. Tour vendor phone numbers, website and specific coupon is available for each offer in the app.
The Statewide Alaska Coupon Package has over 90 coupons for tours and hotels across the State of Alaska. Total value of savings for Statewide Alaska Coupon package is over $14,000. The Statewide App includes an Alaska Airlines coupon that gets you 25% off flights to and within Alaska for up to four people on the same reservation.
The South Central/Interior coupon package has 65 coupons for the South Central, Far North and Interior regions of Alaska. Total value of savings for SouthCentral/Interior Alaska Coupon package is over $10,700.
The Inside Passage coupon package has 25 coupons for the Southeast part of Alaska. Total value of savings for Inside Passage Coupon package is over $3,500.

Excellent App and Customer Service
I had some issues getting a coupon to work and customer service is stellar. It is insane what a great deal this coupon book is. I can’t believe people actually go to Alaska without the tourbook- if the do they’re spending thousands of dollars more than I am while using the book. Thanks so much!!!!
Match your pricing with the physical book
The app is a bit clunky, and I couldn’t figure out which coupons were in each of the packages (in order to buy just a specific package). My main complaint, however, is that the coupon package through the app is more expensive (by $40!) than the physical book. This makes no sense to me! Why would you want to discourage folks from buying the app with a higher price tag when I can only imagine that the book costs you more in overhead? I installed and uninstalled the app within 15 minutes. If you’re looking for the discounts, it’s definitely a much bigger savings to buy the book.

The book retails for $99.95...as it has for 22 years. The books are released in November of the year before the actual summer season in which they are designed to use. As the actual season gets closer, we offer discounts on the book to reduce inventory before they expire. Due to a lost tourist season in 2020 because of Covid-19, the books have been further discounted to encourage more travelers to visit the vendors that participate in the book and boost Alaska's tourist season. We have done our level best to make our app as user-friendly as possible. We welcome your insights so we can make The TourSaver app a valued asset for your travels to Alaska.
