Note:
To obtain vehicle information through the Connected DA, your smartphone needs to be connected to the Connected DA via Bluetooth, and the TOYOTA CONNECT app needs to be running.
The vehicle information is transmitted to the TOYOTA server in conjunction with GPS when the app is running. It is not reflected properly on the app if GPS is disabled on your smartphone.

thats the worst app i have ever tried i called costumer services they told me i have to go to the nearest service store so they send an email to Dubai and i have to wait for a whole day i was doing what the costumer service there and they told me my account is blocked !!!
and when i told the lady that i did what you asked me to do she said try with another phone or delete the app and re install it..
Can No Longer Connect
This app doesn’t work any more for me… I’ve removed and reinstalled; now, my password no longer works, won’t allow me to reset my password, now won’t recognize my email and won’t allow me to re-register. I’ve constantly emailed customer service and they won’t respond so I’ve deleted again… for good.
So complicated
Its to difficult and complicated app , I redeem 160$ to subscribe for one year and when i try to subscribe they told they want another payment method (I don’t know why).
They can deduct from my apple account, I redeem more than enough money on the account.
