설명

Trackuility is an app for those who use pacing to manage their ME/CFS. The app provides a clear overview of various activity metrics and helps users understand their limits and how activity affects their health.

Track
· Get an overview of your activity level and how close you are to reaching your limits for different time intervals.
· Set your own limits and choose if you want notifications when these are exceeded.
· Experiment with different threshold values and see what works best for you.

History
· See how many times you went over your limits on any previous day.
· See if it improves over time and compare it with how you felt that day.

PEM reports
· Get an overview of your crashes and see connections to your health data by generating PEM reports.
· See detailed health information about the days before your PEM and try to find what caused it.

Trackuility measures 11 different activity metrics within several different time intervals.

Metrics:
· Average heart rate
· Average walking speed
· Total number of steps
· Total walking distance
· Total time standing
· Total energy expenditure from activity
· Average environmental audio
· Average headphone audio
· Average stair descent speed
· Average stair ascent speed
· Total number of stairs

Intervals:
· Last measured (most recently recorded heart rate and walking speed)
· Last 15 minutes
· Last hour
· Today
· Last 3 days

This application is integrated with the Apple Health app via HealthKit.

Five Stars

I rate the Trackulity app Five Stars and strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to track their activity level and symptoms easily and use it to inform their planning and gauge how they are doing in their pacing efforts. As a bonus, this type of tracking has also helped guide any conversations with my medical team regarding my activity and symptom level. Also, as a SUPER bonus, this App is available for free, which is a blessing to anyone unable to afford costly tools ~" me."

I first got the Trackuility App in September of 2022. Writing a review has taken me this long because I've had to experiment to learn my thresholds for each measurement. The boundaries I've set through experimentation are heart rate, average walking speed, total step count, total walking distance, stand time, and total active energy consumed. As I continue using the App, I observe the other measurements available to set thresholds for these.

How I use the Trackulity app:

I've conducted many experiments to implement strategies learned in my ME/CFS & Fibromyalgia Self-Help Class. Through these experiments, I've identified each threshold for my boundaries set on the App.
I use a timer to remind myself to check the App during a physical task. This review is when the 15-minute and hourly information provided by the App becomes very handy. It's when I adjust my daily schedule and check symptoms to see if I can do more activity or rest more.
I review my entire day. Have I stayed within my boundaries, or have I gone over? With this information, I plan for my next day. This is also an excellent time to review the "Last 3 Days" feature. If any measurements indicate orange (caution) or red (Oops, I've gone overboard, SOS), my schedule needs to be adjusted, extra rests added, and only leave room on my agenda for my ADLs (Activities for Daily Leaving). My plan in the following months' experiments is to not proceed with physical activities until my "Last 3 Days" indicators show green. I'm curious to see how I feel physically doing this consistently.
Last but not least, I love the "note" feature added to this App. The PEM reports don't lie; when I'm feeling symptoms, I can make detailed notes that inform the next steps. These also help me when communicating symptoms with my doctor since brain fog can be my enemy when trying to remember why I feel how I do on a specific day. For example, I went over all thresholds on Sunday. Although I felt fine on Sunday and yesterday (Monday), I haven't been feeling well today. If not for this tracking app, I would have been confused. I haven't done much today or yesterday. However, my PEM report indicates that I overdid on Sunday. Now, it makes sense, and I've planned accordingly.
Final Thoughts:

Before I began pacing my days, I lived in a constant cycle of overdoing and crashing. The Trackulity app is helping me plan my days in an informed manner to avoid this cycle. It serves as a dashboard where a glance can help me make better choices, contributing to the healing necessary for continuous improvement. Thank you, Adrian Tyrevall, the developer of Trackulity, for this wonderful and practical tool. I appreciate your responsiveness to the feedback I have shared about the App.
