Transcriptase is a lightweight app for audio/video transcription. Load a video or audio file and just start typing. Or, drag an existing transcript onto the editor pane to pick up where you left off. It's great for anyone who conducts interviews and wants to write them up.
## Major Changes
- Updated to Electron 4.x
## Major fixes
- Users could not scroll below the bottom of the text editor, which must have made editing long transcripts impossible. That's fixed (#116 and #117).
- Updated several packages due to critical vulnerability exploits

Thanks so much for your feedback!
Full-screen note-taking is definitely something we can look into.
We're also looking at ways to let users move the center divider, to give more space to either the video/audio or the editing window. That way, even if you can't edit in full-screen video mode, you could at least still make the video much larger.
It seems to be what I am looking for but I cant seem to find the shortcut hot keys for play/pause/reverse/fast forward on the imac, I see it says F8 but I'm not sure how to use on imac. Thanks, having a manual or help option attached to this app would be greatly helpfull.
This is really straightforward and easy to use. I’ve been looking at transcription options for an upcoming project, and this is exactly what I need. Real good.
