Great Driver on Trip From Brugge to Antwerp
Had a great experience on April 2, 2024 from Brugge to Antwerp. Great communication from driver prior to pick up…plus he was 5 minutes early. Nice clean van with bottled water. Driver handled our bags at pick up and drop off. We had a pleasant conversation during our trip. This was our first time using Transfeero….we will definitely use Transfeero again on our next trip to Europe in the Autumn. Our trip was about €100 less than Uber and a much larger and more comfortable vehicle.
Terrible experience in Dubai
Tried and failed to arrange cruise port pickup in Dubai for the only cruise ship docked in Dubai and provided the name of the ship. Sent location and Google maps pin to number of driver indicated by Transfeero the night before. No response. Called him that morning and was transferred to another driver. Also sent Google maps pin to that driver. After waiting in hot sun with my 80 year old parents for 15 minutes after being told he was almost there, we learned he was at different port. He told us he would be there in 30 minutes. We called dispatcher and canceled and they assured us they would refund. (Still waiting for this.) we ended up taking a taxi for 1/4 the cost of the Transfeero fare. The dispatch stated that it was our fault for not correctly specifying which cruise terminal on booking and stated that they don’t ever check the location by name of ship. We told him we tried to contact multiple drivers that were “assigned to us” with location info including hours before our pickup. In short, their contractor in Dubai shunted us to a different driver than indicated by Transfeero and there was no response or acknowledgement to our updated location info. Pricing was much higher than local taxi.
Not happy
First off I booked this because I was told it’s hard to get a taxi to the airport at 3am. On my way, driver said it would take 15 mins, once we arrived, I found out the airport doesn’t open till 4am. Would have been nice to know. I would rather wait and hour for a 25 dollar taxi, then spend 200 dollars for a driver who can’t even communicate where he’s from in scicily. Overall, not worth the price, and the driver was rude. As such an expensive service you should inform tourist clients or anyone booking your service to the airport before 4am the details, that the airport doesn’t open till 4. It’s call called service, I thought that was what I was paying for, but again, I would rather wait outside for a taxi for 25 dollars.
