Transfer is a standalone, multi-protocol (TFTP, HTTP, FTP, SFTP) file transfer server with a modern and straightforward user interface.
Transfer is designed for network administrators and IT professionals to help manage network equipment and other devices that use TFTP, HTTP, FTP, or SFTP to perform firmware updates, pull or push configuration files, retrieve logs, and more.
Transfer is the perfect alternative to Mac's built-in or third-party TFTP, HTTP, FTP, and SFTP servers because it's convenient, doesn't require any additional setup, and allows you to see real-time information of each file transfer. It also limits file sharing to a specific folder in your Mac, preventing access to other user and system files.

A major timesaver.
This application paid for itself in about five minutes, and I couldn't be happier. Even though I've had to work from home most of the time, I didn't run into the need for a local TFTP server until recently, when I had to bring home some Cisco gear to work on.
As I pondered having to either set up a Linux VM or go through the process of setting up up the built-in server (or porting one), I looked and found this.
Perfect! It took me a minute or two to find the little checkbox next to "read only" (I'm visually-impaired, it wasn't obvious to me) and then it ran like a champ. VoiceOver support isn't bad, but it could use some improvement. It even works in sark mode!
Overall, worth every penny in the time it saved me. And, I can now just pop up a TFTP server on my laptop when I am in the datacenter.
Super easy to use
I have a very expensive and very annoying scanner that seems was built for enterprise Windows devices rather than macOS. This app made it easy for me to share files over my home network while still having an added layer of authentication. Well worth the price for how much time it will save you.
Saved my bacon
Initially I was put off that the app was so expensive, but after spending 4 hours unsucessfully trying to unriddle MacOS built in TFTP server I reluctantly paid my $10 dollars. It worked perfectly and within 5 minutes my task was completed. THANK YOU!!!
FYI - I had a bricked Tp-Link wifi router and needed to serve up some firmware. This worked flawlessly.
