Simple and Powerful FTP

When you publish as many 3D virtual tours as VPiX 360 does -- we need fast and simple FTP/SFTP access to hundreds of client servers. Transmit has been our favorite FTP application for years. It's simple, intuitive and reliable. We love it.

OK, but no longer sync via iCloud

I have used Transmit for years, and never had an issue with it. Unfortunately, Transmit now uses their own server to sync instead of iCloud which worked great in the past and I never had issues with it. I have great aversion to apps that use proprietary servers to sync instead of iCloud, and I only use them when there is no alternative. I hope the developers follow the example of other great apps (Like DevonThink, for example) who gives the user options which include iCloud sync.

Noted. Now that we're back in the Mac App Store, we'll keep evaluating our syncing While we love being able to fix server-level sync problems ourselves, we also know iCloud is convenient! (Also, If it helps, we have tons of information on Panic Sync here — — and here — that might help.) Thanks for checking out Transmit 5!

Some minuses

One star because:

- this version in MAS requires subscription - it's like a milk cow (every year you will pay 25$). Version from official site cost 45$ but working all times
- this version in MAS working only in Mojave, but version from official site can work under macOS High Sierra
- I got some freezes when connect to server
- I got one application crash when connect to server
- I tried to copy files 10 times and each time when I got an error I should reconnect and try to copy again
- in tree view when I select the directory and click "refresh" - nothing is going on, for refresh the directory I should going to it and then click "refresh" again

used "FTP with TLS/SSL"

the application not so good like it looks
real price should be - 5-10$
