Getting used of Last.fm website being down? Tired of adds while browsing your listening history?
Trax is a Last.fm app to scrobble your local listens, browse and manage your Last.fm Library. Works offline and online.
Trax is connected in real time with Last.fm but you can use it independently from your Last.fm profile: your scrobbles are downloaded and saved on your device and all stats are generated on the app from your local Library.
Last.fm doesn't allow to edit or delete your scrobbles to third party apps, so actions like Edit or Delete scrobbles, albums or artists are uploaded to your iCloud account (if available) and are always available, even if you remove and reinstall the app.
SILENT LOCAL SCROBBLING
+ Your local and remote listens are added periodically in background to your Library even with the app closed.
RECENT ITEMS AND CHARTS
+ Trax Scrobbler displays your recent listens and your charts by track, artist, or album.
CHARTS BY TIME SPENT LISTENING OR PLAYCOUNT
+ You can choose how to display your charts, by Playcount or Playtime.
+ It has a powerful search section to find any item you scrobbled in the past.
+ All your listening stats are avaible for every item in your scrobbled Library.
+ You can share your recent or your charted listens by track, album or artist in custom tiled images.
Also, you can:
- Edit your Scrobbles (name, album, artist).
- Merge similar tracks, albums or artist. For instance, you can combine two versions of a track (the "usual" one and the remastered version).
- Delete/Bulk Delete Scrobbles, Albums or Artists.
...And it's dark mode compatible.
+Some bug fixes.
Ratings and ReviewsSee All
Currently, when I try to go to the Premium section, the page doesnt display the full screen comfortably and it will not let me scroll down. As well, clicking an option just causes the app to load indefinitely.
The second issue is much more important: Can you make it so albums with the Album Artist field seperate from the Artist field will scrobble correctly? It really brings me down to see an album with different track artists but the same album artist all get scrobbled as different albums.
Otherwise, thanks for being the most current updated scrobbler on the ios store.
Cool app, but...
I like this visually and the concept is good but a) can it scrobble from BandCamp? and b) uhhh where are the artist images coming from? There’s some pretty irrelevant ones (such as a picture of Shakespeare for the band Thou or a pic of a literal fish for the artist Grouper)...anyways, cool! Except those things.
Developer Response ,
You can scrobble Bandcamp from the browser and Trax will get those listens from Last.fm: (https://support.last.fm/t/bandcamp-scrobbling/180). Unfortunately iOS doesn’t allow to get scrobbles from apps except from their own Music app.
Artist images come from wikimedia. Last.fm stopped serving these images in March 2019 alleging copyright reasons. It’s not the best solution though.
I really like the app, but I’m wondering if you could make some updates to it. It doesn’t update my scrobbles and also only shows my scrobble totals from this past December.
Developer Response ,
Sure, we are working on the app right now.
You can pull down to refresh on the “Recent items” tab. The app currently only search for items until the date of the last scrobble to speed up updates. We are working on a better solution though.
If your scrobbles doesn’t appear probably they wasn’t downloaded properly from last.fm. If you pull down your profile avatar on the main screen your Library will be refreshed from last.fm. You can also go to Settings and refresh from there. If you need more help, please, contact us in email@example.com. We will be glad to help you.
