TreadShare is a carpooling app that links drivers and passengers so they can share rides and the cost of the drive. The goal here is to reduce the number of cars on the road, save money, connect like-minded travelers across Colorado, and help protect the environment. TreadShare is available anywhere in the state and anytime people are on the road; come see what rides are available or post your own!

Carpooling with TreadShare is a cost-sharing arrangement organized through the app, and not a commercial activity for drivers.

I want to say thank you so much for the amazing idea this app is. It's been amazing using the app this season as it gives us an opportunity to meet many new people, make friends, ski with them and help with the traffic on I-70. I truly can't thank you enough and hope you continue to improve everyone's experience and get more people to use the app.

Great App

Really awesome solution to help alleviate the traffic problem on I-70 and throughout the state. Rating system is well developed and ensures you can trust drivers and passengers before booking rides.

The app features flexibility for one way trips - as someone who is living without a car in summit county this really helps me get around more affordability and reliably than a shuttle or the bus.

Love This App!!

TreadShare has allowed me to go into the mountains and ski or hike so many times without pushing my car too much! Having FWD really limited my excursions, but now I can hitch a ride with someone whose already going to the area I want to go to! I also love that all parties get to reduce the cost of gas for themselves, help reduce pollution from cars and that I can meet new friends!
