TrekRight’s ‘Lycian Way Encyclopedia’ is packed with extensive reference information, organized into Communities, Accommodation, Attractions, Services, Points of Interest, Route Sections, and Articles. Everything can be searched and filtered, viewed on a map, notes can be added (anything from a simple reservation number to a copy-and-pasted blurb from a website), and more.

TrekRight has detailed *offline* map imagery showing your current location on your selected route along with pins showing all the locations included in the Trekopedia (just touch a pin to open its related Trekopedia entry). Our offline maps mean you don’t require Internet access to use the mapping functionality. Online maps are also available for when you have an Internet connection. Easily filter and do searches. Scroll, zoom, and rotate the map. Completely transform how you ‘see’ your surroundings on the Lycian Way.

Hey everyone! Managing your route in TrekRight just got much easier, with lots of great enhancements to make it easier to make changes, to see what your options are, and more, including:
- You can edit your route on the map now.
- You can tap on any 'branch point' icon to see what route variants are available from that junction.
- You can tap on any white arrowhead along your route to see how far it is to that location in your current stage. The arrowheads also indicate which direction you are walking at that location.
- It's now much easier to modify your stage breaks. Just drag them up/down on the route details screen.
- The appearance of the route details screen is more appealing and more informative.
- Tap on any branch in the route details screen or on any branch point on the map screen to see a pop-up showing lots of details about that branch, what other branches are available at that location, plus there are options for viewing its elevation chart, viewing it on the map, opening its details screen in the Trekopedia, inserting new branches, or deleting the branch from your route.
- When editing your route, you can now shake your phone to undo changes you've made.
- And more! There's lots of little details for you to discover.
Plus, of course, there are lots of updates to our trail content.

Ratings and Reviews
Lycian Way hiker? GET THIS APP!
Excellent app. It made my Lycian Way hike a success. I was unable to get a copy of the Kate Clow guide book before my trip to Turkey (it ships from Britain) and had to rely entirely on what I could find online for guidance. In addition to prefetching some web sites, I downloaded this app along with three other more general purpose offline hiking/mapping apps to my phone. I ended up using this LycianWay app almost exclusively because it had everything I needed -- maps, water sources, accommodations, cultural information, distances, trail-aware compass and even a progress meter for each section.
Not all of the LW is well marked with the red and white blazes. Several times on my hike I wandered down a crisscrossing goat trail and had to rely on this app to guide me back toward the LW. Without it I would have spent many frustrating hours backtracking and searching for the right track.
If you are planning to walk all or part of the LW you should get this app. It's all you need (just be careful to not drop your phone).
Comprehensive Guide
I did very little prep for this hike and the app was a great utility. This was my single reference point for the entire route. I would suggest a second offline map app (pick your preference, I used Maps.me) for more detail in towns etc. The GPS track was absolutely critical, water and resupply info was also helpful. I enjoyed the elevation map to track daily climbs and total route progress. This all was worth it in my experience.
