While the app has required some development over time, it remains an easy-to-use and well-structured application. Most of the negative reviews of this app were given during this development process. I use TCBK’s app to check my balance, process mobile checks, schedule transfers, do instant transfers, log in with Touch-ID and use the insta-balance feature on the front screen (enabled in-app). My user-experience over several months has been excellent and I’m happy to see continued customer care and in-app improvements.

They have a long way to go…and it seems like they don’t even try to fix or make changes to the app at all. I opened my first ever bank account with them about two years ago and have had this app the day I opened my account. Nothing but problems from the very beginning. From the Face ID not working…to no matter how many times I click “save password” it never does. It is also very very slow…takes a long time for the app to open and to bring you to log in page….then after logging in for it to open to my banking. Then now all of a sudden the app won’t even open at all. I click on the app and it’s just a white screen till if finally crashes. I checked to see if it needed to be updated, but no such luck and then I even deleted the whole app from my phone and re-downloaded it…just for it to do the same thing…white screen….crash! Been like this for about a month now. To check my balance I have to pull up the website on google and sign in that way…definitely gonna just close my account with them and open a new bank account somewhere else. 1 outta 10 highly do not recommend!!!

Fix mobile deposits for State of CA checks!!

I really have tried giving this app a chance however coming from big banking apps like Bank of America and Wells Fargo, Tri Counties Bank has a long way to go. It is very frustrating that on a monthly basis I have to go out of my way to the ATM to deposit a State of California retirement check because you guys can’t fix your mobile app to accept mobile deposits of these particular checks. The auto capture will not recognize these checks because they are a weird size and the account number and routing number appear in a different spot than most checks.

I find it hard to believe that your company hasn’t already received massive feedback on this considering you’re a CA based bank. I’m sure there are hundreds if not thousands of your customers that receive one of these checks monthly. In this day and age with technological advances - this issue is frankly, unacceptable. I may even switch banks due to this, truly. Get it together Tri Counties Bank
