Editors’ Notes

We can always count on 1Button for minimalist puzzlers we know we’ll love. In Trilogic, you layer colors in a specific order—gameplay that takes seconds to learn but held our interest for hours. Thanks to some really creative level design, the challenge grows at just the right pace.

Fantastic Sequel to Bicolor

I played through Bicolor a few times. It was fun, but not very challenging. I first completed entire game in a few hours on a flight. This is a great sequel in which ternary logic replaces the familiar binary logic. So far, I haven't played through more than about twenty levels, and as such haven't been challenged yet. I expect to be, though!

If looking for other similar games that stimulate the mind with awkward systems of logic, check out "Voi." It's a similar puzzle game featuring XOR logic.

A very fun game. Fantastically simple. Not bogged down with extra menus or junk. The only change I would recommend is making the pieces "click" into each spot as they move, instead of being able to move them off grid. Does that make sense?
