What’s New

Also, some currencies were not displaying properly in some countries/locales. This is an attempt to fix that.

Perfect trip or everyday Budget app!

I use TripCoin even for my monthly expenses. Thank you for this app - it has given me a great balance between quick manual input of everyday purchases and summary statistics per category. One suggestion: within each trip, could you add a feature that allows the user themself to create “rules” — for example: if the item’s name = “Target” then it defaults the item label to grocery.
I notice the default item name now is something different that I would choose for my rule, and it causes me to have to spend more clicks to re-assign the item category.
Overall amazing app, just a suggestion!

So far so good.

So far I am happy with this app. I am continuing to test it further to see if I should change the rating. I choose this app after XpenseTracker stopped taking care of their customers. People betrayed by XpenseTracker should at least consider this app. Two suggestions: 1. Right now the top page shows a grouping of expenses by day only. It would be more versatile if it allows a section of grouping of expenses by week or by month. 2. Currently, the top page shows each expense converted to US$. The local currency is shown by tapping the black triangle at the lower right corner of each transaction. It would be better if each transaction shows the expense in local currency and tapping the black triangle shows the converted US$. The black line daily total (or weekly or monthly total in the future) shows the total converted to US$ is good as is.

Budgeted a two month European trip

We really enjoyed this app. We backpacked over 9 countries in two months and were able to do this under $100 a day for two people. This app was a huge part of keeping us on track! We loved that it can be used offline and changes the currency for you. It was super easy to use. It averages a daily cost which we loved because some days you spend more the others. It’s a daily spending tracker so the only down side is that we couldn’t put flights or other costs prior to the trip as it would change the daily average and skew how we had budgeted. Overall we loved this app and found it very helpful!
