I play a lot of Kairosoft games, and I’ve been disappointed before, but this one is really good. The hook is solid, and there’s enough different kinds of goals to keep you interested in the gameplay loop. It’s like Dungeon Village in that you’re trying to improve a town’s popularity, with different qualities appealing to different kinds of visitors. It’s also got a little bit of monster-collecting in the ways you can get more sea creatures to show up. Almost all the assets are completely original to the game, and the art is good quality. Maybe I’m just in a beach mood, but it’s colorful and it cheers me up to look at it. One of my favorite Kairosoft games so far! Please, keep working on more simulators like this- these are the kinds of games that made me loyal to your company in the first place.
Seriously, I buy every single Kairosoft game that comes out. Every three months I make sure to check to see if they’ve dropped a new one. This game is nice and relaxing and well-paced, and the more progress you make the more beautiful the waters and islands become. This particular game of their la really excels at giving you leeway to make the kind of island you’re imagining, and doesn’t force you in any one direction. They brought back their classic combo-boost system for mixing and matching similar facilities, which I always enjoy! If you’ve ever enjoyed any single one of their games, I stress that this one is worth giving a shot
After almost playing through a full run (my game crashed and I couldn’t get it to re-open 😢) I can confidently recommend this game as one of Kairosoft’s bests. The progression feels natural and engaging, and the system isn’t too cluttered but still has enough going on to keep me playing. It’s also visually satisfying to see my little pocket of ocean fill up with marine life. I’m sad that I blew my save file, but I’m going to give it another go and see if I can get better scores this time around!
Been addicted to this game for days now- at first I bought it and erased it a few times, losing interest in the beginning. But this time I kept going and I’m obsessed with it. The music is nice, the graphics are fun, and it has that relaxing tropical feel. There’s plenty to do, from research to building and fishing, and more- it’s a good distraction for a while! I would still love for kairosoft to make a hotel game, would be super fun!
I’ve been a long time fan of Kairosoft games, and this is the one I recently finished up. I could not put this one down! Discovering all the combos, travel packages, and wildlife was so so fun. Love the strategy and creativity involved with trying to level up the visitors and facilities. Can’t recommend this game enough! I definitely will be replaying this one in the future.
I buy all of the games you have this is a good one too, You should make a simulator game where you can marry villagers, have kids, upgrade village homes , battle towns/ monsters etc! Let the village grow, have more than one area of settlements. Basically a village building game similar to dream days 2 & Kingdom but even better !
