True Pitch is a tool to quickly and very accurately tune any instrument. True Pitch will detect the tone from your instrument and display the corresponding musical note with the exact measured frequency. You may also connect a microphone adapter to your iPhone. Most adapters that can be connected to the iPhone headphone jack, the Lightning USB port, or any Bluetooth microphone should work well with the tuner.

Absolutely the best app that I have found to identify the notes that I’m playing on my violin.I play a piece , a note doesn’t sound correct, I check this apps screen to determine the note that I’m playing.The app quickly shows whether I’m high, low, or right on the mark.Go to settings and increase the time that it takes for your phone go to sleep so that you can use this app properly - Settings - Displays & Brightness - Autolock.You will love this app. It’s a pleasure to use!
