A good resource, fulfills a need no one else was filling

I never knew apps like this existed until I actually lost my job last year, was evicted from my home, and ended up being homeless myself. While there are phone resources available, like 2-1-1 in many communities, navigating the resources for emergency help is like pulling teeth, and can be time consuming. The app has great resources that are important for people like LGBT youth that was lacking before, and it seems like this app has a broader services offered than just one city or locale (most apps in the past I have seen focused solely on places like Seattle, San Francisco, or New York, or a local rural area, like Missouri- there had been no such option for Florida). I am still considered homeless, and staying in a hotel and spending all my paycheck to just exist, so apps like this are still good resources. I would suggest fleshing it out a bit more - including places like Catholic Charities, what programs they can offer. I dont think the funding is left for their Rapid Rehousing programs, because when I inquired they only had a month of funds left. But it would helpful to know this in the app if there are those options for people to access. Some people, like myself, could benefit from programs like housing vouchers if they are offered - all these are things that could be accessed through the app if implemented to ease the process into stabilization, and getting back on our feet. Links to job services are a good start, so I see great potential here. Partnering with crowd funding charities like Modest Needs might also be a future option, so people can be verified and get legitimate crowd funding if they need emergency cash raised to stay IN a home for instance, before getting evicted. To prevent homelessness. Linking to free legal aid services, and other services that can assist those that are down on their luck could also help. But great start and great potential here.
