I love the idea of the app. I also love that you get points for either confirming or editing gas prices. I do not like that so many gas stations are missing from the map so you can not get points mentioned above. I also do not like that I have been in several different states using this app and have NEVER seen a place they allow you to use your earnings. It is cool they have a paypal option to combat this but then they take HALF of your earnings!!! I get maybe having a “fee” for doing the paypal option but half?!? I still am using the app but I really hope they check themselves on this practice or I do not think I will stick around after my first cash out.

I don’t recommend this app! I’ve had this app for several years and have only earned just under $40 balance. They only give you half the amount you spend in fuel, into points; so if you spend $50 in gas, you only get 25 points which is worth about 25 cents. But don’t spend more than $50 in fuel on receipt or they reject it because that’s the fuel limit they set which isn’t realistic with price of fuel these days. You also can’t submit more than one receipt a day which is also crazy because I have 2 vehicles! Some of my receipts were rejected because it said I have too many payment methods on my account (limit 8) and when I contacted them to update my current card numbers because I got rid of some cards and got new ones, they said they wouldn’t do it.The coupons in app for pennies off for purchasing items in a convenience store is not worth the time to submit a receipt and it doesn’t tell you how to do that especially with no retailers nearby. There are never retailers nearby that I can use my balance on to redeem my earned balance, so only option is to cash out to PayPal and then they take 1/2 of your earned balance which is ridiculous robbery!!! I earned that balance, not them! So my $40 balance is worth only $20 now. 😡. To break down the math…That makes a $50 max purchase of fuel worth 12.5 cents [$50/2=25 points (25 cents) = 12.5 cents when cashed out= not worth my time. I’m deleting this app!!

I have had this app for a few years now along with another very similar app. I have earned $40 in 3 years on this app, while I earned $400 on the other app using the same receipts. On top of that, when I went to redeem my points for gift cards, it said no retailers nearby. I have tried this in other area as well to see if I was near anything while I was in another city. The second option is to redeem your points for cash to your PayPal account, however they reduce the amount by 50% if you choose to use that option. Honestly, this app has been a waste of my time. It could be a good app if they operated like the ‘other apo’ and gave more points/cash back and actually had a lot of retailers to redeem your points with buy otherwise I have honestly been wasting my time and they haven’t improved their app the whole time. I’ll be deleting this app.

I had about $5 earned on this app, when they closed my account for using too many cards. When I reached out they sent me an automated response back. I replied to the automated response explaining that I run a company with Fuel Cards in each vehicle and directed my team to gas stations so they can fill up at the pumps and use Trunow discounts in the convenient stores. I messaged in explaining that I am using the app accordingly but if I need to cut that out I will and only use it for one card (which would mean I would not advice my team to use the Trunow app for discounts on food in-store). To me this seemed like a win-win for Trunow and my employees. I still have not heard back. Receiving any response at all would be more professional and I would not be here rating the app 1 Star. After my experience I would advice all to steer clear and AVOID THIS APP. Don’t waste your time. You may lose all your earnings
