Description

TuioPad is an open source TUIO tracker for iOS devices such as the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, which allows multi-touch remote control based on the TUIO protocol. This app is available free of charge and can be used in conjunction with any TUIO enabled client application. Its source code is also available under the terms of the GPL and therefore can be freely used for the creation of open source TUIO enabled mobile applications. Apart from that the TuioPad is also a useful tool for the development and testing of TUIO 1.1 client implementations.

You can find further information about the TUIO protocol and the various TUIO enabled application environments at the TUIO.org portal.

Can’t Connect via offline WiFi?

I’d give this 5 stars, but it won’t let me even start the app if I’m not connected to the internet over WiFi. Using an offline WiFi network is absolutely critical for interactive applications. To the Developer, could you please let me know if this is possible? Without this feature, it’s just a silly toy.
Thanks.

Good starter app.

New to the concept of OSC, and having never heard of TUIO before, I tried this app. Within five minutes, I had a Labview app working to read the data. A few hours later, I had a working remote mouse script.

This app has a very simplistic interface, with very simple options. It launches and connects quickly. It provides a very good base from which to test the TUIO protocol. The shake-to-exit method is a bit annoying, but not much of a problem. All together, a very useful app.

To: stay true to self, it’s common sense u shouldn’t give an rating solely on that
