SongMaker automatically tunes your voice based on the music scale, tempo, chord progression of the backing track.
• Tuning Variation Options
Once you've done recording, you are free to generate a variety of melody lines and harmonies in real-time by adjusting options such as tuning level, pitch level, setting chorus mode for each measure, etc.
• Import Any Tunes with AI-Powered Vocal Remover
Import tracks from Files and Music library.
You may choose to apply Vocal Remover.
Additionally, the app will auto-detect key, tempo, and chords of the track for the vocal tuning options to work best.
• Music Score
Your recording will be drawn as a piece of professional sheet music and you may play the song while seeing it.
• Customizable Backing Track
You can easily customize the background track with pre-recorded loops. For each loop, you can select a different combination of instruments.
• Variety of Genres and Styles
Diverse genres of backing tracks are available for download - pop, hip-hop, rock, dance, electronic, etc. More than 120 tracks are available, all for free.

Good Overall BUT ..
Good app overall but you should be able to pick your own instrumentals / background beat from your Files (not just Apple Music downloads but Browsed files / ICloud files) to record top. It would be so much better.
Best recording app. Hands down
I play music, write songs, play guitar. Am mostly
looking for something to capture a song idea easily at high quality. SongMaker has that and even much more.
