If I could give no stars I probably would. Purchased previously then returned it because I decided I would much rather have the 50 dollars instead. The sound clarity is somewhat better than the garden variety transmitters one has available without modification; thats when it decides to work(really? Device not supported?). But seriously guys, it's 2013, we can't build a stronger transmitter for 50 dollars purchase price?! I'll keep it for a month again and return it.
So far I’m very pleased with this unit! In fact, I went back to the store and purchased two more (as they were on sale), so that I could place them in my other vehicles so I wouldn’t have to switch from vehicle to vehicle. The only issue I found was the variation from static if it is used on a station that has a very weak signal. Minor adjustments and it clears up. For the price and convenience of not having to tear apart import cars that aren’t conducive to aftermarket stereos it’s well worth not having a wire running all over the place to try and hard wire or create a Frankenstine setup. So far, so good…only time will tell the durability until a better solution is found. Definitely a way to put older iPods to use. Maybe I just got lucky.
After reading everyone else having issues with the app I was a bit sceptical. But seems to be working fine. However, device will only play through my rear speakers. All I get are clicks and static up front. Seriously? For $60 I'd expect better. Don't see this lasting long in my car.
