Description

Test for free for two weeks the ultimate tool for sound engineers and and piano technicians who want to get the maximum out from an instrument!

Professional tool for sound engineers, piano technicians, singers, or instrument makers that measures and displays sound quality in a unique and easy to grasp manner.
Improve your tonal experience with TUNIC Unisono, as both your aural and visual senses are involved simultaneously by the programs fascinating realtime visualizations of recorded sounds.

Get TUNIC Unisono and benefit from the following features:

FOR SOUND ENGINEERS: QUICKLY FIND "SWEET SPOTS" TO POSITION THE MICROPHONE FOR RECORDINGS

Check out the only App that helps you find spots where an instrument sounds best for recording!
Unisono´s unique realtime tone visualizations assist in optimizing acoustic instrument recordings by indicating "sweet spot" locations where an instrument sounds best.

Sound engineers usually try to find by ear spots where an instrument sounds best to place the microphone - this is now done quick and easy with TUNIC Unisono: move the device´s microphone to a location where a majority of the separately played tones used in the performance preferably produce a round, open circular shape on the screen.

FOR PIANO TECHNICIANS: UNISON POLISHING - WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU HEAR

With Unisono, you may readily identify tonal problems of the piano involving your visual senses - for example, detect false beats or whether some strings of a chorus are out of tune. Furthermore, Unisono may support you during the voicing process (treatment of the hammer felt hardness).

Perfect for a fast checkup of your tuning if some notes have slipped, or if even perfectly tuned unisons show up some „closed“ behaviour, which possibly can be improved („opened“) by massaging the tuning pin while striking the note.

TUNIC Unisono can be used along with every commercial electronic piano tuning software as well as for tuning by ear.

CONVINCE YOURSELF
by testing Unisono for two weeks for free! Please note that after this two-weeks period, an in-app one-time purchase is required to make use of any of the features described above.

Great app

As a piano technician I use this app to show clients visually issues with piano strings. Also extremely helpful to give people guidance where to place microphones. It’s also a great way to improve unison tuning since the brain can play tricks while listening and having a visual aid helps a lot.
