Bluetooth mass confusion
The whole sync and operation of Bluetooth is a joke.
Fire and higher new engineers please. ASAP. Doesn’t work, def not user friendly. Been working on it for two hours before installing. Still no go.
Lock doesn’t work in temps under 60°. I got locked out a few times in the cold and couldn’t reset the lock, explicitly asked customer support if cold weather was a problem, was assured that it wasn’t, and found out after resetting the lock with a hair dryer blowing onto it that cold weather was exactly what was causing the lockouts.
If you have the app on two devices, it will kick the admin off and give admin privileges to the alternate. Beware of whom you give keys to. When you get locked out on Christmas night you might come back the next day with a hacker to find your house empty.
App has practically no instructions. It took me three weeks to figure out how useless it is.
Unlock logging only works for Bluetooth unlock, which means that there are no tamper alerts; and logs are 14 hours behind (if I BT unlock at 1640 CST, it logs as having been unlocked at 0240. Exactly which time zone is that?), so if someone breaks in you have nothing to take to the authorities.
The app doesn’t keep an accurate battery life record.
There are so many other problems that by now I’ve pretty much gotten used to them. In three weeks.
Just barricade your door. That’s safer than this POS lock and its unreliable app.
The app is horrible. The unlock records which only show blue tooth unlock are 12 hours off. I got locked out during daylight savings time change. There is no way to change the time to the correct time. The lock also locked me out a few times and would not recognize my phone or any of the pass codes I set I believe it was because it was cold. This is not a good product.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
