Sofa Time: TV Shows & Movies 12+

I have been a user of Television Time for years and lately it feels like development on it hasn’t been slowing and the development on their other app Cinema Time has been nonexistent. Both are reasons I decided to try and find a new tracking app that syncs with Trakt well.

And let me tell you, Sofa Time is by far the best app I have come across that syncs with Trakt and tacks shows and movies beautifully. I honestly wish I had found it sooner. The customization and features are incredible.

My only two minor suggestions/wants would be a grid style layout for the Watch tab and more app icon customization (I know I’m weird but I like when my apps feel like they could be stock apps, white icon on a colored box, for example). Other than that this app is perfect.

I think this is a great app to track everything you watch and I would give it 5 star if it wasn’t for a bug that I’m experiencing. The app was working normally when I’m adding movies or shows to my watched tab, but today all of a sudden, all the movies I had watched just disappeared and now I have to go back and re-add them to the watched tab and it’s really annoying because I had over 300+ movies. I’ll go back and add them back, but if the issue keeps on happening then I won’t bother anymore.I tried refreshing the page and exiting the app, but that didn’t work. The same thing happened with all the shows I’ve watched just earlier today, but it was only 60 so it wasn’t that hard to add them back. But I wanted to know if it’s happening because of something I did or just a bug. Other than that, the app is a solid five.

I think my search for a movie/show tracking app is over. Do you know how few apps there are that let you make a personal note on what you’re watching? I can tell you it’s a very, very small number. I don’t want or need my opinions shared across an entire social component. There’s Letterboxd for that. This app allows me to create something much closer to a movie journal where I don’t have to supply any of the metadata myself. I love, love how customizable this app is. Love the themes. Happy premium purchaser and look forward to seeing what else is in store. One thing: sometimes the poster image shown on my personal lists is from a country other than my own. Would love the option to select which poster is used, if possible. (But still love being able to see the global posters in the gallery!)
