Description
Our desire is to see every follower of Jesus spend time in the Word of God daily. We believe that your life will be transformed by knowing who God is and how He has redeemed us through Jesus Christ.
Reading scripture every day is crucial to knowing God and what He desires for our lives. (1 John 2:3-6)
Simply put, to know what God desires requires us to read His Word. Furthermore, it's not only about reading those words, but applying them to our lives, teaching them to each other, and meditating on them day after day. (Deuteronomy 6:6-9)
But let's be honest, consistently reading the Bible can be a challenge. That is why we believe accountability is a powerful method to build a rhythm of reading Scripture.
Our simple app allows you to share a picture of what you read each day and have a conversation about it with everyone in your small group. Every day is an opportunity to encourage, listen, and deepen our relationships with each other and with Christ. By immersing ourselves in the Scriptures and consistently walking in the Spirit we will be transformed into His likeness (2 Cor. 3:18).
HOW IT WORKS
*Snap a daily photo of what you read*
Each day, each person in your group can upload a picture of what they read. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. The photo can include just a few verses or the entire page.
*Start a conversation*
As the people in your group share photos of what they have been reading, you have the opportunity to start conversations that allow the group to grow and learn together.
*Stay accountable throughout the week*
Checking in daily will help your group keep each other accountable. Twelve makes it easy to see who has read at a glance and how you did as a group each week.
*Manage your group and notification preferences*
You can change your group name, invite people, and manage notification preferences from your group settings.

Overall View
The app is simplistic and very useful with connecting with friends and family who may not be close. Right now I am using it to have an accountability group among men that I no longer see on a regular basis and it’s great way to keep in touch.
The app offers a place for you to record your bible reading by posting a picture with the option of elaborating or even beginning a conversation. Because the message thread is flexible you honestly could utilize it for anything such as prayer requests or just conversation. Overall the app is wonderful and versatile in such a simple way and I encourage if you struggle with daily reading or simply want to keep in touch with friends and family in a great way this is the app for you all.

amazing accountability…just a suggestion
I absolutely love this app because it keeps me accountable with my friends on reading the word everyday and i’ve even had friends reach out to me asking if ive read the bible yet today since i hadn’t posted on it. I am part of a few groups on the app and it would be amazing if i could take a picture of what i read and have an option to post to all of my groups instead of one group at a time.
Excellent App
This app is awesome. Not only is it free, but it’s design is simple and appealing and the features it has work quite well (ex the text detection). I know it’s still in the earlier phases of it’s existence but it would be cool if you could make highlights or comments on specific pictures in app, but the day by day chat feature works well anyway.
My friends and I are enjoying Twelve; thank you!
