Stay the Course

I’ll say this. I used to put up photos every now and then hoping they’d sell. Then I sold my first one and it motivated me to shoot and upload more. Eventually it all starts to add up. I’m at $918 lifetime on Twenty20. Took about 4 years but each year has gotten better with the last. Keep at it. Keep trying to take better photos. Work on your editing. There are people who blow me out of the water and make way more money on here, but I’m just saying that it’s possible. It doesn’t happen instantly. Shoot what people want to buy. Rinse. Repeat.

I love the app Twenty20. Ever since I discovered it, I am hooked. I so appreciate having daily challenges, makes life more interesting and greater opportunities to win. I enjoy meeting other photographers and their works-whether as a hobby or professional. It is quite easy to navigate the site/app. I highly recommend it to others. I have been a member for 2+ years and I absolutely and thoroughly enjoy it.🙂 I have sold 11 photos so far and I have 90 honors. I am still waiting to be an editor's pick & to be added to the signature collection-which I have been surprised not to be added b/c I have had people nominate many of my photos for the SC.

I don't mind the limit of 3 photos but I have seen people have used more than 3. Also, sometimes I get an honor but it doesn't show up right away-a few times I needed to contact customer service.

I love that there are several contests going on simultaneously. I do wish there were some more types of contests like- candies, favorite pet picture, rainbows, fashion, luggage, waterfalls, specific flower type- roses, irises, magnolias, etc, art, etc. Overall, I enjoy it but wish we earned $5 a photo like on FOAP-I just joined it.

Becoming more frustrating....

I think the app has made some decent improvements however the problem I seem to be having is an inaccurate showing of my honors. When I sell and or get in the top 20% or higher in challenges, not all of them show up. There are at least 5 to 10 pictures that do not show up as sold or in the top percentages in my honors section. It’s frustrating because I like my information to be displayed as accurate information. It’s just not accurate. I’ve complained numerous times and I get the same generic email in response to my complaint. I responded to the generic email once. Meaning I provided examples and a detailed description of my problem and I was told to make sure my app was up-to-date. I give’s still frustrating to open my page and having to see the wrong stats. Sales have somewhat increased since the merging of companies. I gave it 4 stars for my frustrations and the lack of service when an issue actually does occur.
Other than all of that it’s still kind of interesting to participate in. Definitely not a great source of income but more -so something fun to do. ☺️
