Can’t say the app is a total scam, I saved and withdrew over a thousand dollars, albeit it does take uncomfortably long to get your money back. 2 auto deposits made it back into your accounts by the time I got my initial withdrawal (this seems to only be a problem with investment goals, not the normal cash savings). However I am having issues signing into the app and as I see so are many others. Not a good look and if not fixed Asap you will be losing an otherwise happy customer.


Login was fixed, figured it would be. I know things happen and I’m just glad there wasn’t a security issue. The point of this app is to save and forget about it, if you so badly needed money in the 72 hours the app was down I’m afraid you need to re-evaluate your budget, this is not what twine is tailored to anyway. Rating remains strong because it works and I’ve had no issue withdrawing funds, even though once again the point of this app is to condition you to not pull $$ in order to save.

To log in, you will need to update your Twine App to the newest version available in the App Store (version 1.18.0). Still charged after pausing deposits

I was excited to start using this app. I heard good things and it was working out just fine UNTIL I pour a pause on my deposits. Since the app had that option I naturally assumed it would work but even if you pause your deposits THEY WILL STILL CHARGE YOUR ACCOUNT!! Not only did they try to withdraw money from my linked bank account when I specifically said not to, they charged me a fee. Now I have less money than I initially started out with, which defeats the purpose of this app in my opinion. I was surprised they tried to make the withdrawal because 1) I paused them and they should not have been trying to take my money and 2) Twine was really good at pausing deposits when it sensed there may be an issue. Idk maybe they got greedy and stopped that practice so they can charge people these fines and really screw them over in the middle of a global pandemic crisis. I should have just saved the traditional way and kept my money in my bank account or in cash. Not only are they dishonest about when they charge your bank account they don’t even let you see the fine they imposed on your account. I looked and wasn’t able to see a line item for a fee. If you’re going to STEAL my money at least have the decency to show the charge on my twine account. This app is garbage, don’t use and save your money the traditional way.

Best App For Money,Investment,Saving, etc.!!!!

I felt I needed to write a review for this app due to the recent negativity regarding just this app. I understand that it’s hard when you invest money and the app does not work for 2 to 3 days, but they do also have a website, which has the same access as the app if not more. I certainly am not Rockefeller, and I have a lot invested in this app particularly. I knew something must have been wrong for the app to go down. I did not for one second think that all of us and I was scammed and lost all my money. I have never ever ever had any problem with twine or any other of their associates like John Hancock or Apex. Anytime I needed my money back I was able to request it and it was put in the bank within that week. Anytime I wanted to put more in there was no problem. I have use this for everything and have not once had any problems with this app or Twine for that matter! Please be aware that they are a reputable, trustworthy company and there’s no reason to not use them as such!!! You will NOT regret it!!!
