We rely on Twitter to help us express our thoughts and keep up with the news. And with Twitter’s Apple TV app (our 2016 App of the Year), we’ve also got a bigger window into current events and topical discussions. From breaking-news tweets to live Periscope feeds—and even Thursday Night Football—the benefits of that little bird are always getting bigger.

Solid official app, hope to see it grow further

As I'm starting to use Twitter once again, I just wanna say that this remains a well-made app for your Twitter needs.
I've tried other apps such as Tweetbot and Twitterific, and while they may offer more functionalities like statistics or customization options, I don't really need all those. And things like the simple, modern UI and live updates helps me select this as my go-to app for Twitter.
If there's something I really want this app to have is to be able sync your timeline position throughout other devices. It's a bit bothersome that I don't know where I left off as I check Twitter on my computer or the iPad, or worse, I'll be sent to the top of the timeline if enough time has passed. Other Twitter apps, like the ones mentioned above, have this feature (using Tweet Marker), but I really would like to have this feature here.
All in all, solid app. Really hope to see it improve overtime.

Wont give me my account

I made my account in early March. I am 15 years old (born December of 2003) I realized in my bio that I had put 2002 as my birth year. So I went to change it to 2003 and it immediately locked me out of my account saying I didn’t meet the age requirement which is 13 years old. I sent them a picture of my student ID for verification (they ask for your birth certificate, ID and passport which I thought was a bit sketchy at first) which had my grade level and entire name. They emailed me back about an hour later saying it wasn’t proper identification. So I just went ahead and sent them my passport photo with my name and date of birth. A day goes by and they email me back saying that I am under 13 years old and can’t give me back my account. I have redone the report with my passport multiple times to see if I can have them review it again but still no answer back. It’s obvious that a computer is going over these age requirement issues because any other person would realize that a child born in 2003 is over 13 years old. I am very disappointed. I have been told my numerous of friends that twitter was a great app and it was until this happened. I used it to interact with my friends and now I have no way of contacting them.
