Typer can read your files now. • Attach files to any chat. Drop them in, paste them, or pick them with the attach button. Typer reads PDFs, Word and PowerPoint documents, spreadsheets, CSVs and plain text, then answers questions about them. • The attach button in the composer works again, and now lets you choose between Photos and Files. • Code blocks follow the theme you picked in Typer instead of your Mac's light or dark setting. • Settings opens at the right height, so you no longer have to scroll the moment it appears. • On Macs low on storage, we no longer swap your recommended model for a smaller one you would have to download from scratch.

Design and reliability refinements across the app

This release is a big reliability pass, with fixes for things you may have run into. • Stop now works instantly, even in the middle of a web search. Before, it could hang for a few seconds waiting on the search to finish. • Web search and tools are more dependable. We fixed a crash that could happen after restarting your Mac, and search results no longer occasionally show raw text. • Smoother first launch, so setup no longer stalls on slower Macs. • Long chats in Chinese, Japanese, and other languages no longer hit a "message too long" error too early. • Fixed duplicated text that could appear when the app recovered on memory-tight Macs. • Behind the scenes: privacy and security hardening, safer model downloads, and fewer ways to lose a chat or your settings.

Minor bug fix.

• If a freshly downloaded model fails to load, Typer now switches to a backup so you can keep chatting, and repairs the download in the background. • New: a 1-month free trial of Hyper Typer for eligible accounts. The offer appears on the upgrade screen. • The rating prompt no longer pops up while you're still going through onboarding or waiting for a download. • Removed a duplicate upgrade pill from the title bar.
