With the UAbacus you can add and subtract numbers using the "logic method" for abacus computation. Those learning abacus computation can practice their computation skills getting help with a step if they become stuck and having the correct answer verified. Users who do not know how to compute using a Cranmer abacus using the logic method can support individuals who are abacus users by following the steps necessary to solve the problem as the individual works the problem on a Cranmer abacus.
Minor bug fixes.

Instruction in abacus can be confusing for students and in some cases teachers. This app is clear and concise giving the user the ability to control how much feedback is given to learner. The step by step instruction is very helpful to a beginner learner and a good check for someone who needs an occasional prompt. Future additions to the program in other areas of math would be awesome! I really enjoy this app and would strongly urge other TVI's, parents, other teachers to use this app for a child with visual impairements or a child struggling in math.
Great tool for learning basic abacus
UAbacus allows practice adding and subtracting whole numbers directly. One can also compute adding and subtracting indirectly (carrying).
Can be customize to include steps, speaking bead numbers, etc.
Nice sound effects-- clicking with movement of beads.
Now I can teach my blind students the abacus accurately without struggling to remember the steps myself, and classroom teachers who do not know the steps can do the same.
