Great NEW tool for training umpires
This looks like a great new tool for judging pitches in the zone.
I’ve been looking for a tool to work on pitches low and away. The slot view is pretty good and sometimes the catcher or batter block the view like in real life.
The Specific Zone Recognition gets into catcher framing (on or off) so that’s cool too. Might be cool if I could track my progress.
Having all the pitchers to choose in Whole Zone is really cool though!!
Not very realistic
It is good for new umpires to see more pitches. It is just very hard to judge where the zone is when animated.
